What is S.A.F.E. Angling
S.A.F.E. Angling stands for Sustaining Angling,
Fish,& Ecosystems. It is a project of Recycled Fish designed to get anglers the best information on how to be a steward on the water. It equips you with the practices and products you need to be a steward on the water and to practice eco-friendly fishing.
Troll around in here to learn about reduced-impact gear like lead-free lures, biodegradable baits, hooks, and angling accessories like nets and scales. We'’ll pair those with catch-and-release techniques and other on-the-water tactics to set you up as a steward no matter where you fish, or what you fish for.
These products and practices are good for the fish, the fisheries, and us fishers! None of them are difficult to employ, they just require a slight difference in the way we think about what we’ve already been doing. A change in conscience leads to a conscious change!
So with that, "S.A.F.E. Angling!"

We’re all agreed that a lifestyle of stewardship means living as a steward both on and off the water. We’ve discovered that that off the water, it’s stuff like how we maintain our lawns and whether or not we’re using low flow shower heads. On the water, it all started with Catch and Release and...
