ISSUE: Increase women's participation in fishing
Solution: Get women and girls outdoors on a regular basis. It's going to take anyone more than one or two fishing trips to understand fishing. My encouraging statement is, "Fishing isn't just about catching fish, it's the experience and the memories." Getting women outdoors isn't an environmental problem, though women participation is histortically much lower than men, but I believe if we get people into fishing, they'll become not only anglers but stewards of the land, water, and wildlife.
