Issue: Barbless Hooks, litter, and non powered fishing vessels
Fishing with Barbless Hooks means fish that are caught can be returned to the water quickly, resulting in less stress and delayed mortality on fish.
Despite being staffed park, the "out of the way" spots and trails often have trash left behind, shorelines are continuously littered with plastic bags and other waste that can be blown around.
The use of non powered fishing vessels such as float tubes, kayaks and canoes means no emissions from motors.
