Who We Are
Recycled Fish is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that started out talking about Catch and Release, but it’s bigger than that now. We’re a national movement of anglers who live and promote a lifestyle of stewardship both on and off the water.
We’re doing stuff like putting in low flow shower heads and changing how we care for our lawns, because that stuff matters to fisheries as much or more than catch and release.
If we want more and bigger fish in our waters, now and for our kids, the choices we make every day matter because our lifestyle runs downstream.
Here’s a little video that sums it up:

Board of Directors
Teeg Stouffer – Executive Director, Omaha / Council Bluffs
Teeg is a life-long angler, truly passionate about the sport of fishing and the resource on the whole. “I came from a fishing family, both on my mom’s side and my dad’s side. We grew up fishing, I had a rod in my hand at age three, and I don’t think I ever put it down.”
Hailing from the Midwest, Teeg started his career in the media working in radio, then in event marketing. “I got my first radio show when I was 14 years old, and I was working for a local station by the time I was 16.”
Since then, he’s worked in event marketing, both touring on national tours and developing large-scale tours inside and outside the outdoor industry.
His passion for stewardship of Creation, motivated by an under-lying faith, together with his experience in media, marketing and management give him a unique skill set to cultivate and steer this unique outdoor organization.

Marcia Rubin – VP Advisory Board
Ohio
As a professional bass angler, Marcia Rubin has traveled the country in pursuit of fish. Marcia is a leader in competitive bass angling, and through this venue has become a respected media personality, speaker and brand ambassador. She is a history maker by being the first woman to fish local, regional and national tournaments that had previously been fished only by men. Her renown comes from her stand-apart personality, passion for engaging an audience, and her unique ability to light up any room she’s in or stage she’s on. We’re proud to have her unique input and leadership in our Advisory Panel.
