Stewardship Tip Dec28th, 2010- Happy New Year
Happy New Year from all of us at RecycledFish!
We hope that 2011 is filled with personal records, fish released to fight another day, clean waters, and thriving populations of your favorite quarry.
Our tip this week is to buy your license.
If you have already purchased your license, we tip our cap to you.
We come from a legacy of conservation. Our fishing licenses are a tangible link to that legacy. Our parents and our grandparents were the earliest supporters of conservation and scientific wildlife management. Those who preceded us were the first to recognize that unregulated uses of wildlife threatened the future of many species. When they purchased fishing licenses, they helped to fund programs that kept fisheries vital and healthy.
Why it is important to the fish: License fees help pay for fishery and hatchery management, habitat development and protection, endangered species programs, and conservation education.
Our fishing licenses are a link to our past and a path to our future. Help carry our legacy forward, purchase your license today!
The Angler’s Legacy website will get you pointed in the right direction to purchase your fishing license on-line
