    Good Times with the Experts

    By FishRecycler | October 1, 2009

Recycled Fish Angler Appreciation NightsAnd…we are done.

These parties were lways fun, and our fall shin-dig was no exception.

This one had kind of a “DIY” theme with a rod building and rod repair demonstration from Arron Slater (Dragon’s Custom Rods), a fly tying demonstration from Jeremy Langer (Professional Fly Tyer), lure building demo from Brad Huston, a live cooking demonstration with Chef John Schow, fall walleye tips from Ben Garver, a talk on winterizing your boat from Nitro pro Jay Davis, stewardship seminars and more.

The good people at Glazers Distributing switched up our wine tasting this time around. Guests tried the Blue Fish Riesling, Santa Rita Chardonnay and Beringer Merlot. A variety of beers to sample from, too.

It was our final Angler Appreciation Night for 2009, but we’ll be back with more – lots more – in the new year!

As always, we’ll have door prizes and a silent auction (see all those logos below? That’s the kind of gear you’ll be able to win).

    Did we mention they’re FREE?

You can’t believe the deals people got on stuff from Frabill, Hill’s Discount Flies, The Clean Environment Company, Therm-A-Rest, New Pro Products, Bioline, Family Fish & Game and others at past events. All of the proceeds from the auction benefit Recycled Fish.

    What’s the catch? None.
    Well, maybe yours.
After a night with these experts, you may find more and bigger fish in the waters you fish – and on the end of your line.

Here are some highlight photos from past parties this year:
