12 Questions

Everybody at Recycled Fish loves talking fish and fishing, and it’s often interesting to visit with some of the leading personalities in our sport. Those folks who have done it around the world, who have been at it for years, or who have not only learned every trick in the book – they invented those tricks.
Across the world of angling, from fly anglers to the saltwater guys to the hardwater (ice) nuts to the person running the local bait shop, there are a lot of different voices in fishing. We decided to start asking them all the same 12 questions, and it’s been amazing to hear how different the responses can be. It’s interesting to hear the similarities, too.
One more reason to take the Sportsman Stewardship Pledge and join Recycled Fish: Anyone can read the edited responses to the interviews, but Recycled Fish members get special access to the full interviews, including behind-the-scenes information, fuller feedback from these unique voices, and special tips and tricks.
We’d like to start sharing these conversations with you, so every month, you’ll hear from another interesting person in fishing, and what they have to say when we ask them 12 Questions.

Have you taken the Recycled Fish Sportsman’s Stewardship Pledge? If not, it’s an easy way to advance the Stewardship Ethic. Catch and Release best practices and Selective Harvest are important, but conservation and stewardship of our waters means preventing the spread of invasive species, SAFE Angling or “green fishing,” and other angler ethics. The truth is, the stuff we do every day – even off the water – matters just as much, because our lifestyle runs downstream.
Stewardship Tips are available here.
